Informação gratuita e independente para ajudar pessoas de todas as idades a reconhecer golpes com IA e encontrar a ajuda certa.
O Scam Literacy é mantido pelo Dr. James Froggatt, desenvolvedor web e arquiteto de aplicativos. Ele criou o site para ajudar pessoas do mundo todo a se proteger, e a proteger quem amam, de golpistas na internet.

O que fazemos
Explicamos como funcionam os golpes de hoje em linguagem curta e simples, e listamos os serviços oficiais a procurar no seu país.
Como verificamos as informações
- Cada fato tem link para a sua fonte. Preferimos estudos revisados por pares e órgãos oficiais: polícia, governos, a ONU, reguladores e serviços de proteção à infância.
- Cada número de telefone e cada site é verificado com uma fonte citada na página, oficial sempre que possível, com a data da verificação.
- Os sinais de alerta e as orientações seguem as recomendações dessas fontes oficiais.
Como avaliamos o risco
O risco financeiro reflete as perdas que as autoridades informam para cada golpe. O dano emocional reflete a vergonha, o medo e o risco ao bem-estar que os serviços de apoio às vítimas descrevem. Os dois usam uma escala de três níveis: moderado, alto, muito alto. São nossa avaliação editorial e os revisamos quando as fontes mudam.
O que não somos
Não somos a polícia, nem um banco, nem um advogado, e não conseguimos recuperar dinheiro. Numa emergência, ligue para o número de emergência local.
